Back to the Hat again!

So I have been loving the utter heck out of Sonic Racing Transformed, but that hasn't been my only gaming vice lately. I took a look at my 500+ game backlog, then happily trotted out and bought myself a 3DS XL (pink and pretty, thank you) so I could play Fire Emblem Awakening and Kingdom Hearts 3D and eventually Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Shin Megami Tensei: Soul Hackers and Pokemon X/Y and stuff.

So the games I grabbed for that are now in the Hat. I also put the DS games I already own on the backlog list, on the rationalization that I wanted to play them more anyway and now I have a nice big-screen way to do so. So now Shiren the Wanderer and other notoriously difficult games like the Final Fantasy 3 DS remake and Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey are on that list. I didn't really have enough pain waiting for me, did I?

One day SANITY may enter into the equation when it comes to stuff like this, but I guess that day has yet to come. Last night I plugged the 3DSXL in next to my bed, set it playing episodes of Mysterious Cities of Gold off Netflix, and fell asleep watching Mendoza be a badass and fight sharks. God that felt nice. Technology really is an amazing thing.

But hey! Games. I like games. How about I play some games? What am I gonna play, Hat?

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver. Also known as "Zelda with Ugly Vampires", "That Non-Gex Series Crystal Dynamics Did", and "Many Good Voice Actors Having A Ham-Off". This is the second game in a series I've never played the first of, so I'll probably kinda stutter and stammer a lot working through the mythology of this thing. I'm sure several of you lovelies know absolutely everything and will not hesitate to cross arms and glare when I get the basics wrong.

See you next time!
