"Where's our beloved Mayor!?"
"Fucked off to Eorzea."
I will try not to let that happen.
So Animal Crossing, though, yeah?
Last night I did the usual fishing and bug-catching.
Loading Screen Spotlight Isabelle informs me that today a beauty salon opened on Main Street. "Be sure to visit it!" she enthuses, so I guess I am that terrible looking. Heck, let's get right over there right away then! Shampoodle, it turns out, is up the stairs from Mable/Sable/Labelle's place.
So this is Harriet, and she is basically everything I want to be.
She has a big machine she plugs people into and then she asks them a bunch of questions about their personalities.
And then you come out looking like... ...like, er... like a lime frostee, in my case!
Well. Now I need some outfits toned for green hair. Or... something? Maybe I'll try again tomorrow!
After doing the morning shop run, I find myself craving something Different in my house. I grab a wallpaper from the Nookazoids, and come home to discover I have matching flooring in my storage. My room is now an impenetrable AT Field fortress!
Meanwhile, a weird deal chain plays out in front of me. Pompom got something delivered to her that was actually for Teddy, and Teddy declares it to be "That thing I ordered way back when" and offers to let me buy it, sight-unseen, for 217 bells. I figure what the hell, and pop out the cash. What does it turn out to be?
One of the most eye-blazing t-shirts I've ever seen in my life. Seriously, you know it's bad when -I- complain about eye-clashing color combinations. I am a squirrel who is made of pink.
Anyway, with my funds like they are, I can afford to do THIS.
Of course, that means I then have to do this.
298,000 bells goes towards giving me a second story in my house.
In other news, Blaire offered to show off her dancing to me, but I don't think I can afford her.
And Curt is... REALLY REALLY proud of his house's exterior.
Meanwhile, Teddy... is Teddy.
Today was a great day, all around.
